Aim: The present study determined the level of knowledge about oral health in high school students from Colegio Alternativo Talentos in time of Covid-19 in Trujillo. Material and method: The research work was prolective, cross-sectional, observational and descriptive, where 95 high school students were evaluated applying a virtual multiple-choice response questionnaire on oral health. This questionnaire consisted of 16 questions and each question with its 4 corresponding alternatives. The level of knowledge was classified as good, fair and bad. This questionnaire was subjected to an expert wreck assessment (0.997). A pilot test was carried out on 20 students (0.831). The level of knowledge was classified as good, fair and bad. Chi-square statistical test was used. Results: It was observed that the level of knowledge about oral health in the students was good with 83%, followed by a regular level with 17%. With what corresponds to sex, the females presented a good level in 43% and the male in 40%. In addition, in relation to the school grade, the school grades that presented a better level of knowledge were the second and fifth grade, both in 18%. Conclusions: There is a good level of knowledge about oral health in high school students with 83%, presenting in a better level in the female sex and according to school grade in second and fifth grade high school students.
