In this research thesis entitled “Diseño para la ampliación y mejoramiento del servicio de agua potable e instalación de disposición de excretas en el caserío San Antonio – Distrito de Carmen de la Frontera – Provincia De Huancabamba – Piura”, the problem that is lacking is analyzed the hamlet San Antonio, which is the lack of a water system that supplies the entire current population, since the existing system does not meet the supply for the entire San Antonio hamlet, to this is added the structures that are found deteriorated, due to the fact that they have an antiquity period of 20 years thus fulfilling their useful life period, Likewise, in the San Antonio village there was another problem with the issue of excreta dispositions since at present the area does not have a sewage system but a system of dry pit latrines, which are in poor condition, In addition, not all of the population has a latrine, causing a large percentage of the inhabitants of the San Antonio village to carry out their needs in the open air, which contributes to environmental contamination and the spread of diseases. which contributes to the pollution of the environment and the spread of disease. which contributes to the pollution of the environment and the spread of disease. The main objective of this research is to provide a comprehensive solution through a design for the expansion and improvement of the drinking water system and also a design of a UBS system. A topographic survey of the area has been carried out, thus proposing a layout of the network that complies with the water supply for the entire population of the San Antonio village, likewise a study of soil mechanics was carried out, thus knowing the characteristics of the soil texture and a study of water quality was developed knowing its physical, chemical and microbiological characteristics. Finally, a design of the drinking water system networks was carried out with the WaterCad software and a UBS system with hydraulic dragging was proposed.
