asociaron a Litiasis vesicular.
vesicular.
The present study aimed to determine the degree of association between the severity of the non-alcoholic fatty liver and gallstones in patients treated at the Imaging Diagnosis service of the Víctor Lazarte Echegaray Hospital of EsSalud-Trujillo in the period 2019-2020 Material and methods: an observational, analytical, cross-sectional study was carried out. The study population consisted of 284 adult patients according to the established selection criteria, who underwent an abdominal ultrasound that included evaluation of the liver and bile ducts. The results of each variable to be studied were presented in crossed tables with absolute and percentage frequencies. Results: The frequencies according to the severity of non-alcoholic fatty liver in patients with gallstones were: 12.7% for NAFLD grade 1, 11.3% for NAFLD grade 2 and 0.4% for NAFLD grade 3. In the analysis of standardized residues to measure the association Among the different grades of NAFLD and gallstones, none of the measurements was greater in absolute value than 1.96. Also, of the covariates studied, it was evidenced that the metabolic syndrome (p = 0.002) and the body mass index (p = 0.010) were the only ones associated with gallstones. Conclusions: The severity of non-alcoholic fatty liver was not associated with gallstones.
