The company Cute Shoes S.R.L, it is a company dedicated to market and manufacture women's footwear, in relation to this company the research was carried out. When the visit to the factory was scheduled, it was possible to gather information in such a way that I know I could understand how they work and how they manufacture the footwear they offer, thus concluding that this company has been working disorganized, there is no control in the processes and a total ignorance of its production volume. Once the problem was identified through the cause-and-effect diagram, it was determined that the first root cause of the problem was the non-standardized production times, as a consequence the possible solution would be the standardization of the times, which was carried out taking into account the 4 activities that comprise the production process: Cutting, Profiling, Assembly and Cutting. Once the activities were identified, a pilot sample of 20 observations was taken and through the student's T distribution, the sample size was determined to start the study. Then, we proceeded to calculate the average elementary times in each of the activities with the return to zero method using the stopwatch. The workers were then qualified using the Westinghouse system to calculate normal time. To this I add the supplements and percentage valuation which was given according to the criteria of the formed committee of the company, which had as a result of 3%. Finally, the standard time and the volume or capacity of both theoretical and effective production were calculated. The final result is concentrated on having determined the bottleneck activity called profiling, this being the activity that governs the production line with a standard time of 116.63 minutes / dozen, this allowed us to calculate the effective production volume equivalent to 23 dozen / week of women's footwear
