The present study allowed to demonstrate if the Attitude towards Mathematics is related to the Level of Learning in mathematics in the students of first of secondary of the Educational Center of Application Juan Pablo II Trujillo; 124 students participated in this study; the Correlational Descriptive design was used, 2 instruments were applied, the first is the Attitude towards Mathematics Scale, which contains three dimensions: Cognitive, Affective and Conative the other instrument is the Evaluation Questionnaire, it consists of 4 instruments that measured the performance academic in mathematics in the areas of Algebra, Arithmetic, Geometry and Statistics. For data processing and analysis, the nonparametric correlation model known as Spearman's Rho was used and the Kolmogorovsmirnov test was used for the normality test, obtaining as a result a highly significant relationship (p <0.01) between the Attitude towards mathematics and the Level of Learning in Mathematics for the 4 capacities. of our research hypothesis was confirmed. Regarding the relationship between the dimensions of Attitude towards Mathematics: Cognitive, affective and conative and the level of learning in mathematics was highly significant, this is how we checked our hypothesis.
