To estimate the relationship between socioeconomic level and level of knowledge of warning signs of Acute Respiratory Infections (ARI) in caregivers of children at the Albrecht Hospital in the period January 1, 2021 - July 30, 2021, identify sociodemographic characteristics, determine the socioeconomic level of child caregivers and determine the level of knowledge of IRA warning signs, sample made up of 384 caregivers. The study design was observational, analytical, cross-sectional correlational, a survey technique was used and the instrument was the survey form. Results: The relationship between the socioeconomic level and the level of knowledge of ARI warning signs is positive and significant with a Spearman's Rho correlation coefficient of 0.736. In addition, it is estimated that 37% of caregivers are at a medium level of knowledge of ARI warning signs, 36% at a high level and 27% at a low level. It was estimated that 24% of caregivers are in a higher low socioeconomic level, 36% in a medium level, 23% in a high level and 16% in a lower low level. Conclusions: There is a high positive correlation between each of the dimensions of the socioeconomic level with the variable knowledge of IRA warning signs.
