The main objective of the research work called ““Influence of Sika plasticizer admixture on the properties of lightweight expanded polystyrene-based concrete““ is to determine the influence of Sika plasticizer admixture on the properties of lightweight expanded polystyrene-based concrete. For this, the dosage of 30 mixing proportions for lightweight concrete based on expanded polystyrene was carried out, with and without Sika plasticizer additive, at ages of 7 and 28 days; and considering 3 specimens per proportion, to estimate a more accurate result; achieving a total of 180 specimens to be tested. The tests to be carried out will be compression and slump. The process to determine the dosage of the materials was by means of the ACI 523.3R standard, which presents the process of obtaining the optimal quantities for cellular concretes above 800 kg / m3, with densities of up to 1920 kg / m3. Thus, as there is no Peruvian standard for this type of concrete, this standard was chosen. Following each of the steps, the desired proportions were obtained, which in collaboration with the concrete laboratory GEOCYP S.R.L, the compressive strength and slump of the samples could be determined. The main result was that the addition of the Sika plasticizer additive together with the reduction of water in the concrete based on expanded polystyrene with a density of 1600 kg / cm2 allowed to achieve a resistance 23% greater than the resistance of concrete without additive or reduction. of water.
