Nivel de conocimiento y prácticas de la enfermera sobre aspiración de secreciones en pacientes intubados del servicio de emergencia Hospital Víctor Lazarte - Trujillo 2019

Abstract

La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar la relación entre el nivel de conocimiento y las prácticas de la enfermera sobre aspiración de secreciones en pacientes intubados del servicio de emergencia del Hospital Víctor Lazarte, Trujillo 2019. La investigación fue aplicada correlacional, descriptiva, participaron 40 enfermeras, a quienes se le aplicó un cuestionario (conocimientos) y una guía de observación (práctica) ambos validados en constructo y confiabilidad. En los resultados encontrados, en cuanto al nivel de conocimientos predomino el “bueno” con un 60%, seguido de nivel “medio” con 25%, y un “bajo” nivel del 15%. En cuanto a las practicas se obtuvo, predominio del nivel “cumple” con 62.5% y un 37.5% con nivel “no cumple”. Sobre la determinación de relación entre el nivel de conocimiento y las prácticas de la enfermera sobre aspiración de secreciones en pacientes intubados del servicio de emergencia del Hospital Víctor Lazarte, Trujillo 2019, se demostró que existe asociación significativa entre las dos variables (X2 = 36.160, p = 0.000, alfa 0.05).

The present investigation had as to determine the association between the level of knowledge and the practices of the nurse about aspiration of secretions in intubated patients of the emergency service of the Hospital Victor Lazarte, Trujillo 2019. The investigation was applied correlational, descriptive, 40 nurses participated a questionnaire (knowledge) and an observation guide (practice) both validated in construct and reliability were used. In the results, finding a high prevalence in the level of knowledge 60%, followed by a medium level of knowledge 25%, and with a low level of knowledge 15% The level of practices was identified, with a predominance of a good level of practice 62.5% and 37.5% that they did not manage to have a good level. Regarding the determination of the association between the level of knowledge and the practices of the nurse on aspiration of secretions in intubated patients of the emergency service of the Hospital Victor Lazarte, Trujillo 2019, it was shown that there is a significant association between the two variables (X2 = 36,160, p = 0.000, alpha 0.05).
