This research aims to demonstrate to what extent the accounting and tax treatment of depreciation affects the determination of the Income Tax of the company Huaman & Jave SAC, in Trujillo, year 2020. The methodology is descriptive - correlational and used as a technique the Documentary analysis and structured interview, so that it allows us to corroborate the depreciation methods applied by the company and determine the incidence in the determination of income tax. The fixed asset accounts were used as a sample, for this, the detail of the fixed asset record that was provided by the company was analyzed. The results obtained in the research work accept the hypothesis, which affirms that the accounting and tax depreciation treatment affects the determination of the Income Tax. This is because the temporary differences found will cause a deferred tax, so they must be recognized so as not to generate an inappropriate calculation of income tax and damages to the company. Therefore, the company is recommended to recognize the deferred tax that is generated by temporary differences and make the correct payment of income tax at the end of the period and thus avoid contingencies in the future
