Perfil clínico y adherencia al tratamiento en pacientes con hipertiroidismo atendidos en el Hospital III-1 José Cayetano Heredia, Piura 2017-2018

Abstract

Objetivo: Describir el perfil clínico y la adherencia en cuanto al tratamiento en pacientes con hipertiroidismo atendidos en el hospital III-1 “JOSE CAYETANO HEREDIA” PIURA 2017-2018. Metodología: Estudio tipo censal de tipo observacional, descriptivo de tipo retrospectivo, con análisis de datos secundarios en pacientes con Hipertiroidismo atendidos en el hospital III-1 José Cayetano Heredia 2017- 2018. Resultados: Entre los años 2017 y 2018 se encontraron 79 casos de pacientes con hipotiroidismo; de los cuales el 59.5% fueron del sexo femenino (47 casos); estreñimientos además de la fatiga se encontraron en el 78.48% de los casos encontrados (62 casos). Las principales causas de deserción encontramos un 20.25% de los pacientes (16 de los casos) abandona el tratamiento por desaparición de los signos/síntomas así también 15 de los pacientes (18.98%) abandonan el tratamiento por causar mayor efecto en los síntomas y/o mayor malestar que sin el tratamiento. Conclusiones: Se encontraron un total de 79 casos y las principales causas de deserción fueron el abandono por mayor malestar de los síntomas, así como olvido de toma del fármaco y resolución parcial de síntomas.
