The present is a study that addresses the impact of emotional advertising on university students of Administration and Human Medicine at the Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego de Trujillo, 2018; The purpose is to know if the gender and training factor is associated with the impact of emotional advertising. For them we worked with 338 subjects between men and women, being 110 of Administration and 228 of Human Medicine. As a measuring instrument, the cognitive-affective emotional advertising questionnaire (IPE-CA) was applied. As significant results, it is found that both in the group of males and females of both samples, favorable attitudes towards advertising predominate, and they value social networks followed by television as advertising media to a greater extent. Likewise, the impact of emotional advertising is more relevant in the group of women than men and is independent of the field of professional training. There are differences between men and women in Administration, with women being more sensitive to this impact; those of Human Medicine, are also different men and women in the affective impact. Finally, in the professional training factor, those of Administration are more inclined and receptive to the publicity of their training and learning experiences, which can be a key factor in these differences.
