The research was conducted in sectors I and II of the urbanization engineering of the city of Trujillo, in 2018, referring to a natural gas system design. In this sense, the purpose of the research is to design and build of the natural gas home distribution system. To do this, it was necessary to determine the area of manzaneo and the lotization of the urbanized area, then a budget was made for all the natural gas installation in the Engineering I and II urbanization, and finally the appropriate expenses for profitability were determined. The study was justified by the fact that clean, environmentally friendly, economical and efficient energy was used as a safe, potentially versatile alternative to satisfy energy demand and ensure the extension of natural gas to the majority of the population within the parameters and normative technical criteria, being a practical value, indispensable for the families that enjoy this service or methodologically it was approached with a descriptive - explanatory research and with the application of a field design, with a population and sample of 405 urban homes that could use some fuel type. A direct survey was applied to determine values of type of construction, number of people per family, source of energy they use, activity that they would be willing to change for home natural gas consumption, and time in recovery of their money. The data processing allowed to determine that the percentage of energy source used to cook their food is 100% high, while the families that use gas hot water is still very low in sectors I and II, of only 1.25% and 1.20% respectively, and the predisposition for natural gas in a possible change, is high in 88.28% and 90 and hot water in the home, which allowed arriving at the following conclusions: The Natural gas in Trujillo and Peru is still in the process of extension. The normative technical criteria of the National Building Regulation E-040, NTP 111-011 and 011-021 for the installation of residential gas have been used. Currently the massive consumption of natural gas throughout the national territory is already running. The total cost of the project of the external networks amounts to (S/.475566.16.00) in USD $ 141537.55 (change dollar S / .3.36) for a total cost per family of S / .1742.00 in USD $ 518.45. Additionally the internal network (S / .974.23) per family / lot.
