The present investigation “Continuous inventory review system to meet the demand in the general warehouse of Hidrandina S.A. - Trujillo”, began with the compilation of historical data and the main causes that led to the shortage and over stock of materials. Using the Ishikawa diagram method, it was determined that the main cause of the problem lies in the lack of control and monitoring of the materials that are used in the different hydro-energy projects in the La Libertad Region. Faced with this situation, the proposed solution consisted in proposing the development of the fixed order quantity model or Q system for the materials in greatest demand with a certain degree of probability, despite the fact that they are budgeted from year to year. For the development of this research, the historical demand of three years was used, using four forecasting methods and selecting through the error rates MSE, MAD and MAPE, where the future demand for 2020 was obtained, with a confidence level of 99%. Next, the economic order quantities, the averages of consumption during the delivery time, the safety stocks, and with them the fixed reorder order quantities, the number of annual orders, respectively, were calculated. Obtained the different results, we can conclude that the fixed order quantity model or Q system, if it allows the control of materials for this type of probabilistic demand, emphasizing the need to establish a good cost system and the ideal determination of the level of reorder, all this will allow to improve logistics management and specifically for Hidrandina SA its administrative and financial management.
