In the present research, the main objective was to determine the relationship between self concept and resilience in high school students from the Laredo state educational institution. We worked with a sample of 153 students. To obtain results, the evaluation was used the Self-Concept Questionnaire Form 5 (AF5) and the Resilience Scale for Adolescents (ERA) The results show a significant positive correlation between the study variables. In the same way, there is a significant positive correlation at the medium level, between the Academic Self-concept and the dimensions of Interaction, Morality, Humor, Initiative and Creativity. On the other hand, there is a significant positive correlation between Social Self-Concept and the Interaction, Morality and Humor dimensions; a significant positive correlation at a medium level, between the Emotional Self-concept and the Initiative dimensions. In addition, a significant positive correlation between Family Self Concept and the Morality and Initiative dimensions; and finally, a significant positive correlation between Physical Self-Concept and the Insight, Interaction, Morality, Humor and Initiative dimensions
