Objective: To describe the clinical manifestations and complications present in pregnant women diagnosed with Dengue treated in Hospital III-1 José Cayetano Heredia Heredia Piura 2017 Methodology: Observational, descriptive, retrospective cross-sectional study with secondary data analysis of the medical records in pregnant patients with diagnosis of Dengue. Hospital III-1 Essalud José Cayetano Heredia Piura 2017. Results: We obtained 78 clinical histories of pregnant women affected by Dengue during the year 2017. Within the clinical manifestations, it was found that 100% of cases presented fever, headache and retro-ocular pain in a constant way, 38.46% had arthralgia, 32.05% of pregnant women presented nausea / vomiting and skin rash. Among other clinical manifestations it was found that 5.12% had hypovolaemia, persistent hypotension and shock. Regarding maternal complications, 7.69% presented a pre-term threat of delivery and 5.13% ended in maternal death, as they were carriers of severe dengue. Conclusion: There were 78 cases of Dengue in pregnant women. The following can be said about the data found in this study, all pregnant women with dengue presented with fever, headache and retroocular pain. Followed by arthralgia, skin rash, nausea and vomiting. He also found cases of bleeding such as gingivorrhagia. Due to the existence of maternal deaths, it was found that the most frequent clinical signs in these patients were hypovolemia, persistent arterial hypotension and signs of poor perfusion such as tachycardia, cold extremities, etc. Finally, the threat of preterm delivery was also found as the most frequent complication and the presence of 4 maternal deaths that pregnant women presented during their diagnosis of Dengue.
