The present study has been carried out with the objective of determining the relationship between emotional education and comprehensive development in five-year-old children from public and private educational institutions, Trujillo - 2022. It is a basic type of research with a correlational level, its sample consisted of 100 five-year-old students from the initial level of public and private educational institutions in Trujillo - 2022. For its execution, the observation technique was used for the two instruments: The Scale of emotional education in children (EHSE 5) and the Scale to measure comprehensive development in five-year-old children. The two instruments have been validated through the judgment of three experts and have a high level of reliability: 1.00 and 1.00, respectively. The results obtained indicate that there is a significant relationship between emotional education and comprehensive development in five-year-old children from public and private educational institutions, Trujillo - 2022, where the value achieved through Spearman's Rho coefficient is (R = 0.721; p<.01) and whose level of significance is 0.000, which is a value less than 0.05, which shows a highly significant, direct and high-grade relationship. This means that emotional education directly affects comprehensive development. A child with a low level of developed emotional education will not achieve optimal development of their own dimensions of integral development. The higher the level of emotional education in children, the greater the development of their comprehensive development
