This research study was carried out with the objective of determining the maternal consequences associated with premature rupture of membranes in COVID + pregnant women at the Jayanca health center during the period 2020 -2021. The study approach was descriptive, observational and retrospective considering 179 medical records as a total population. Obtaining the following results: That 27.9% presented COVID and PROM, the maternal consequences of patients with COVID were: Precipitate birth with 25.7%, Oligohydramnios with 29.05%, postpartum hemorrhage with 18.4% and small placenta with 34 .1% and low birth weight with 3.35%. Statistical association was found between PROM and precipitous labor, post partum hemorrhage in COVID patients. It is concluded that there is an association between premature rupture of membranes with some maternal consequences in COVID-positive pregnant women within the aforementioned study period
