In the present investigation, the level of seismic performance of the Chamán Bridge km. 701, in the district of Chepén - province of Chepén - La Libertad, by means of non-linear static analysis (pushover), in the face of seismic solicitations; taking into account that, with this analysis, the real behavior of the structure is obtained, therefore, the damage that the bridge will suffer after an earthquake can be predicted. Nonlinear static analysis (pushover) consists of applying a load pattern to the structure in a specific direction, which will increase until the structure collapses. For the application of this analysis in the Shaman Bridge, the software CSI Bridge v21 was used; Furthermore, the parameters described in the MTC Bridge Manual (2018), CALTRANS Manual (2019), LRFD Seismic Analysis and Design of Bridges Rerence Manual (2014) were taken as a reference. For the development of this research, the accelerations of the study area were taken into account, which served to graph the design spectrum and determine the demand shift for rare and very rare earthquakes, with a return period of 475 and 1000 years, respectively. On the other hand, to determine the capacity displacement of the bridge, the properties of the material (concrete, reinforcing steel) and the geometry of the column were taken into account. It was possible to determine that the demand displacement for rare earthquakes (Tr = 475 years) is 0.36 cm in the transverse axis and 6.75 cm in the longitudinal axis, while, for very rare earthquakes (Tr = 1000 years) it is 0.43 cm in the transverse axis and 7.76 cm in the longitudinal axis. The capacity displacement was 0.91 cm in the transverse axis and 6.68 cm in the longitudinal axis. In conclusion, the level of seismic performance of the Chamán Bridge for earthquakes Tr = 475 years resulted within the limit state of collapse prevention, which indicates that the bridge will present significant non-repairable damage, while for earthquakes Tr = 1000 years it resulted in the state of collapse, which indicates that the bridge will stop working completely.
