The research “Factors associated with the abortion of adolescent women of the Hospital of Chulucanas II-1, Piura; year 2020”, had as -objective: To identify the relationship of -the- gynecological -obstetrical-, sexual and sociodemographic factors with the abortion of adolescent women, treated at the Chulucanas II-1 Hospital; Piura, year 2020. Methodology: Non-experimental design, correlational of cut cross sectional and retrospective, whose sample was 60 histories clinics of women adolescents treated with diagnosis of abortion. Results: Among the most relevant gynecological-obstetric factors, 50% of the adolescents accessed between 1-2 prenatal care, 13.3% had previous abortions and 26.7% had urinary tract infections. According to sexual factors of the adolescents, 80.0% had only one partner; 16.7% had 2 partners and 3.3% had 3 sexual partners. On the beginning of sexual activities, 85% occurred between 15 and 19 years old and 15% in children under 14 years old. The use of contraceptive methods was represented by 95% of adolescents who did not access or use contraceptive methods; 3.30% used oral contraceptives and 1.70% used condoms. In relation to sociodemographic factors: 96.7% were adolescents between 15 and 19 years old; whose origin was from the rural area with 73.3%; with incomplete secondary education 55% and complete secondary education 35%; 75% were housewives and cohabiting with 73.3%. 88.3% of early abortions and 11.7% of late abortions were recorded. Conclusion: According to the gynecological- obstetric factor, urinary infection was related to adolescent abortion as it was found p = value 0.026 and in the same way according to sexual factors, the use of contraceptive method had p = value 0.19; thus relating to the abortion of adolescents at the Chulucanas Hospital.
