Currently, houses in Peru are observed with informal constructions on their roofs with the execution of parapets and sills, whether of noble material or Drywall. The methodology of construction in homes worldwide is diverse, some of them being polluting for the environment, long-term construction and sometimes risky in its execution time. In the construction of parapets and sills on roofs, external walls are executed with the Drywall system with the criterion of lightening the overload that is given to the house since it also gives us a quick and easy execution on site, consequently this leads to its investigation. For this reason, it is required to obtain information on its structural behavior in the face of a load perpendicular to its plane and to see the risks of misuse that construction masters can give to this type of material due to lack of knowledge of the SuperBoard Technical Manual, since we are informed and I observe that they do not follow the constructive requirements that the technical manual provides us. For our study, 12 prototypes of Drywall sills were executed: 4 prototypes with 8mm Drywall plate, 4 prototypes with 12mm Drywall plate and 4 according to the thesis recommendations with the help and judgment of our advisor. The prototypes were subjected to a load perpendicular to their plane with a monotonic test, which leads us to conclude and obtain information on their behavior. Our results obtained in the laboratory show us the behavior of our walls before loads perpendicular to their plane of our Drywall windowsills according to RNE E.070, our admissible stresses in flexural traction (dt) are calculated, where for non-bearing walls (sills and parapets) this will not be greater than 1.50 Kg / cm2, having walls with 8mm plates with the criterion of the master builder 0.72 Kg / cm2 was obtained, for walls with 12mm plates 1.73 Kg / cm2 was obtained and for our proposal of design with 8mm plates + reinforcement, 1.82 Kg / cm2 was obtained. Concluding that the specifications indicated in the SuperBoard technical manual must be met since our # 1 prototypes do not meet the requirements of RNE E.070, which can be observed in more detail in the cabinet calculations.
