Objective: To determine the factors associated with preeclampsia in pregnant women treated in the Hospital II-2 Sullana. January 2017- June 2018. Material and Methods: The present study was Observational, analytical, transversal and retrospective. The sample was of 193 clinical histories of pregnant women diagnosed with preeclampsia. The data collection technique was a Data Sheet. The statistical analysis was carried out through Microsoft Excel and the statistical package SPSS v. 22.0 Results: The prevalence of Preeclampsia in the Hospital II-2 Sullana, in the last 15 years increased from 21.6% to 29.8% and mostly by pregnant adolescents. According to type of pre-eclampsia, 76.2% without signs of severity and 23.8% with signs of severity. Risk factors such as age between 15 to 34 years (OR = 9,012, p = 0.00), multiparity (OR = 1.98 and P = 0.017), prenatal controls under 6 controls during pregnancy (OR = 01.081 and P = 0.07) were considered as significant risk factors and the antecedents (chronic arterial hypertension, pre-existing or gestational diabetes mellitus, nephropathy and heart disease do not have a significant relationship with preeclampsia without signs of severity. Conclusions: The prevalence of Preeclampsia in the Hospital II-2 Sullana, was 29.8% and according to type of Preeclampsia, 76.2% without signs of severity Maternal age from 15 to 34 years, multiparity, minor prenatal controls 6 controls are risk factors associated with preeclampsia.
