This research work was carried out at the company Danper Trujillo S.A.C. in the District of Salaverry, Province of Trujillo, and Department of La Libertad. The main objective was to evaluate the development of plants with the use of compost and rice husks in various doses as substrates. This experiment was installed in the Muchik farm on June 7, 2018. The biometrics characteristics were evaluated (plant height, size, number of shoots, first flow shoots, second flow shoots, size), production and size (kilos per treatment and size per fruit). The experimental design used was that of completely randomized blocks with five repetitions, using five treatments: A = pure compost, B = ¼ compost + ¾ rice husk, C = ½ compost + ½ rice husk, D = ¾ compost + ¼ rice husk, E = pure rice husk. An analysis of variance was performed, also the Duncan significance test was used at 0.05 probability. The results obtained in the biometrics characteristics show that the treatment that has the best results is ¼ compost + ¾ rice husk. While the treatment with the lowest results is pure husk. In the characteristics of plant height in the five samples the results are similar, verifying that the plant height does not vary in large proportion since there are no significant differences. In the characteristic fruit size the best results were achieved in the ¼ compost + ¾ rice husk dose and the lowest results were obtained in the pure husk dose. The last characteristic evaluated is the production, better results were obtained with the dose ¼ compost + ¾ rice husk with 22.47 t/ha. Secondly ½ compost + ½ rice husk with 16.18t / ha. Third place ¾ compost + ¼ rice husk with 15.44t / ha. Fourth pure compost 15t / ha. Ultimately pure husk with 12.88t / ha
