This thesis tries to solve part of the existing problem in the city of Trujillo, such as limited access to urban facilities for the development of cultural, artistic and recreational activities, through an architectural project called ““Cultural Center of Visual Arts““, transforming an urban void of the city such as the Land of the Former Railway Station into public and sustainable spaces, which generate identity and experience of the city, turning it into a lung and respite in the metropolis. Culture is a source of knowledge and tradition, which is linked to our roots, however, art and culture must not only remain embodied in a period of history; if not to demonstrate an evolutionary process of the same, allowing its conservation, innovation and diffusion, in order to keep alive and improve culture in modern society. That is where the project generates a window of openings for Trujillan and external artists who wish to express their art through the creation of the ““Cultural Center of Visual Arts““, spreading through its exhibition and learning spaces an important and representative art group of our country, managing to generate an impact and interest in the population for the cultivation and development of artistic activities and at the same time seeking to recover the identity of the space around the project, such as the walls of Trujillo, historical and monumental remains for the city that are introduced to the project through a public space at different scales, levels and qualities, giving it importance and interaction with the pedestrians who pass through the place and integrating it into the architecture carefully placed on the ground.
