The objective of this thesis is to carry out the study of fluvial hydraulics of the Moche river in the sections of the Quirihuac bridge and Fierro bridge due to the effects presented in the following thesis. The poor placement of protection structures near the Quirihuac bridge, the clogging of most of the section, the sedimentation that will have negative effects in a near time, the lack of protection structures that will affect the nearby areas that are cultivated and houses. A topographic study was carried out in the study area, the areas with the highest risk were identified, and a slope of 0.12% was calculated. A hydrological analysis was carried out and it was determined that the flows were adjusted to 05 statistical distributions, whose design flow was averaged at 777m3 / s for a return period of 200 years, therefore we made a one-dimensional model of the Moche river to verify the behavior of the river. channel and the overflow of said channel occurs, this generated a negative impact in the surrounding areas that are rural and cultivated. From this problem, 4 m high protection dams were designed, once the dams were checked.
