The objective of this study was to determine the impact of the engineering design of times and movements on the productivity of the production of bronze screws in a factory in Trujillo, 2023. Through applied, explanatory, correlational and non-experimental research, the production process for 30 weeks, using surveys and documentary analysis as data collection techniques. The results showed a significant increase in the efficiency of the manufacturing process, reflected in a reduction in production time and an optimization of operational movements, with a value of ““p=0.02 < 0.05““, which implies the rejection of the hypothesis. null and the acceptance of the alternative hypothesis. After the implementation of the improvements, a notable optimization was achieved in the production process: the operator's cycle time was reduced by approximately 25 minutes, increasing human efficiency to 62.49% and machine utilization to 61.77%. In addition, a decrease in time supplements was observed from 15% to 12%, contributing to an overall improvement in productivity of 53.85%, compared to the initial state, which meant an increase in productivity of 15.39%. It is concluded that the improvement design based on method engineering has increased the productivity of the manufacturing of metal screws in the factory, evidencing its effectiveness and economic viability.
