The objective of this investigation was to determine the relationship between addiction to social networks and procrastination in students of a private university in Trujillo. A correlational design was used, with a sample of 373 students of the professional career of psychology from the first to the fifth cycle of study within a private university in Trujillo. The Escurra y Salas Social Network Addiction Questionnaire was used as data collection instruments, as well as the Arevalo Adolescent Procrastination Scale. The result was obtained (% 66.32 average level in addiction to social networks and %84.21 average level in procrastination) and a highly significant relationship (p<.01) direct and to a high degree (rho=.718) was found between the variables; In addition, there is a direct and highly significant relationship (p<.01) between the dimensions of addiction to social networks and procrastination. It was concluded that there is a relationship between addiction to social networks and procrastination.
