Objective: To determine the factors associated with Preterm Labor in adolescent pregnant women of Santa Rosa II-2 hospital, Piura 2013-2017. Material and Methods: Observational, descriptive, retrospective, transversal and correlational. Personal, obstetric and pathological characteristics were studied. Excel and SPSS 20.0 were used. There were 500 adolescent patients with preterm birth and the sample was 75 patients. Results: The sociodemographic factors: age from 17 to 19 years was 73.3%, 85.3%, cohabiting and 73.3% with secondary. The obstetric factors: 54.7% had less than six prenatal check-ups, 17.3% short intergenic period, 2.7% multiparous. Pathological factors: Urinary tract infection, 20%, RPM 18.7% and preeclampsia, 16%. Conclusions: The factors associated with preterm delivery in adolescent pregnant women are epidemiological, obstetric and pathological The most frequent sociodemographic factors: age from 17 to 19 years, cohabiting and with secondary level. The most frequent obstetric factors: less than six prenatal controls, prolonged PIG and Nulliparity and pathological factors are urinary tract infection, premature rupture of membranes and arterial hypertension. According to the chi-squared test, the prenatal control variable is not associated, all other variables are associated with preterm delivery in the adolescents under study.
