The purpose of this report is to investigate, analyze and prepare the documentation, which helps the construction process of civil works for the installation of a 120 thousand barrel B100 Biodiesel tank, the objectives will be met through the preparation of this report. Its purpose is to explain the structural design as the types of materials to be used for its construction, for which previously knowledge of the topography must be known to obtain the data of the geometry and coordinates of the natural terrain, and thus know the dimension, position and shape of the land, in addition to having an analysis of the geotechnics of the area to evaluate its physical, chemical and mechanical qualities of the soil. For the construction of the structures, meteorological and climatic data will be taken into account, as well as the physicochemical characteristics of the product to be preserved. The information obtained from the preliminary studies will be compiled through various tests, this will be used in order to prepare a proposal for the design and construction of the structural and complementary elements of the tank. With these studies, a proposal will be indicated that is consistent with the characteristics of the terrain studied, with design calculations indicating whether the structures can withstand the stresses of the terrain. This report is made to have adequate engineering for the construction of a B100 Biodiesel tank, which will serve to increase storage at the Talara Refinery and avoid storage problems due to increased production. The design of the tank will comply with the norms, laws and/or decrees established in Peru, as well as international regulations. Among the annexes, the plans, programming and planning of the project have also been included, in addition to the possible unit costs for its construction. The conclusions and recommendations are in accordance with what was obtained in the construction process to have a correct engineering in the construction of the tank.
