This research was carried out with the objective of identifying the factors associated with cesarean section in pregnant adolescents treated at the Hospital de Chulucanas II-1- Piura, 2019. Methodology: Non-experimental design, analytical, relational, cross-sectional, retrospective and quantitative approach. With a sample of 99 pregnant adolescents giving birth via cesarean section. Results: More relevant gynecological-obstetric factors were found, such as 96% of adolescents with 3 to 6 prenatal controls; They presented with a gestational age of 37 to 41 weeks in 90.9% and pelvic stricture in 20.2%. Primary caesarean sections were performed in 87.9% of the users and 12.1% for previous caesarean sections; of which 8.1% had a short intergenetic period; finding very significant evidence between short intergenetic period and previous cesarean sections with p-value = <0.001 **. Regarding the most relevant factors associated with pregnancy complications, it was obtained that the dystocia on presentation was 15.2%; the premature rupture of membranes 6.1%; premature detachment of placenta 2%; placenta previa 2% and pre-eclampsia 7%. According to factors, complications of childbirth, it was evidenced that the cerebrospinal disproportion resulted in 22.2%; 12.1% of adolescents had a dysfunctional labor and 16.2% altered fetal well-being. According to the sociodemographic characteristics, the most frequent age was between 15 to 19 years with 92.9%; 83.8% of secondary level; They come from rural areas 69.9% and from urban areas 30.3%. Conclusion: The caesarean sections of adolescents at the Hospital de Chulucanas presented statistically significant evidence with the indicators of degree of education (p = value 0.048) and origin (p = value 0.024); In addition, there was a very significant relationship in previous cesarean deliveries and a short intergenetic period (p-value = <0.001 **), thus contrasting the alternative hypothesis of the study carried out.
