The town of Ciudad de Dios, located in the department of La Libertad, province of Pacasmayo and district of Guadalupe, has roads in poor condition, including streets with paved surfaces. This generates a socioeconomic problem that does not allow the growth of the area. The thesis entitled ““Evaluation and geometric design for the paving of the Ciudad de Dios Town Center - Guadalupe District - Pacasmayo Province - La Libertad Department““, performs an evaluation and classification of the types of faults in the existing pavement, then performs the structural design using the AASHTO 93 guide to find the thickness of the bases and the roadbed for the rigid, flexible and articulated pavement, for which the corresponding soil study was carried out. On the other hand, the design of the road section and traffic signaling was elaborated, following the parameters indicated in the Manual of Control Devices for Automobile Traffic on Streets and Highways approved by the Ministry of Transportation and Communications, with the purpose of improving the vehicular flow, guaranteeing the health and safety of the population. Finally, a comparative table was prepared with the economic proposals to determine which type of pavement is most favorable for the area under study
