The present study has been carried out in order to define the relationship between Music Education and Oral Expression in 4-year-old boys and girls of the I.E.I.P. ““Leaders of the New Millennium““, Huanchaco district, 2020. It is a basic research, of a non-experimental type, with a correlational design. The study problem was: How is musical education related to the development of oral expression in 4-year-old boys and girls of the I.E.P. ““Leaders of the New Millennium““, Huanchaco district, 2020? The hypothesis was: Musical education is significantly related to the development of oral expression in 4-year-old children from the Private Educational Institution ““Líderes del Nuevo Milenium““, district of Huanchaco, 2020. The study sample consisted of 20 4-year-old boys and girls from the I.E.I.P. ““Leaders of the New Millennium““. Two instruments were used: checklist to measure music education consisting of 20 items; and an observation sheet that measures oral expression that consists of 21 items. The two instruments have been validated through expert judgment and show a good level of reliability: 0.84 and 0.82 respectively. The results indicate that musical education is significantly related to the elocution dimension, pronunciation and verbal fluency. In the elocution dimension, Spearman's Rho value was 0.251 with a significance level of 0.018. In the pronunciation dimension, the Spearman Rho value was 0.376 with a significance level of 0.021 and in the verbal fluency dimension, the Spearman Rho value was 0.178 with a significance level of 0.039. In all dimensions, its level of significance is less than 5% (0.05), showing that there is a significant relationship between music education and each of them. In conclusion, music education is significantly related to oral expression in 4-year-old boys and girls of the I.E.I.P. “Leaders of the New Millennium”, Huanchaco district, 2020, with a Spearman Rho coefficient of = 0.343, and a significance level of 0.031 confirming the correlation.
