This thesis project provides an opportunity to small companies in the fashion sector that sell their garments through the online sales channel. A technological model is proposed that allows online shoppers to use a virtual dressing room, where they will put on the virtual garments of companies, this process is known as “virtual try-on. The project benefits users, who can alleviate the uncertainty of how the garment they want to buy online can look. Secondly, it reduces the percentage of returns of garments for companies that make online sales and inherently their respective costs involved in the return. The project starts from the investigation and analysis of the current technologies used for the generation of models that associate the user experience with a purchase; then, through a design a prototype of the proposed model is elaborated; The validation of the proposed model is through a user satisfaction survey on the interaction with a virtual mobile application try-on, which certifies that the points developed in the model, as well as the interrelated processes comply with their respective operation ; In addition, a company in the fashion sector is being used as a case study for the extraction of information: operational and of its products, this company makes available the resources that project managers need for its implementation; and, finally, a continuity plan of the technological model is proposed to ensure the processes, improve continuously and be scalable over time.
