This thesis project was carried out in Le Carré SAC company, dedicated to the exclusive production of leather footwear for children, which was the object of analysis and diagnosis, and thus make possible the implementation of the improvement proposal in its production process. In the last year the company has incurred higher costs for outsourcing pairs of footwear, because it has not managed to reach the amounts that, as a company, has been projected to cover the annual demand. The appearance of different types of defects during the manufacturing processes of footwear, generated low productivity and an economic impact of 6.91% on the annual profit. To solve or mitigate this problem, it was decided to design and develop a comprehensive management system for MSMEs, which is oriented to process management and concepts of continuous improvement and lean manufacturing, all aligned to quality management. The present project begins with the description of the theoretical and methodological framework, where the different tools to be used are pointed out, such as 5S, 7 Wastes, VSM, Line Balance and other analysis tools. Then, it is showed an analysis and diagnosis of the initial situation in general of the company. Subsequently, the factors that cause low productivity and its impact on the company, so that, finally, proposals for improvement can be implemented correctly.
