This Project describes the design of the structure cabling backbone in optical fiber to an industrial company situated in Lurin, Lima. This backbone is applied to the Plants 1 and 2 of the compay. The design provided will improve the performance of the network, as well as access to the current systems and future projects of the company. To this, the choice of transmission medium between the Data Center and each communication cabinet is multimode and single-mode fiber cable, internal and external, as the case may be. This after a validation of the advantages of this medium with others such as UTP cable and radio link. The final route to follow from the Data Center to each cabinet has been chosen according to the distance to cover, dangerousness and feasibility of the route. These routes can be aerial in some sections and continue through mailboxes in other links. For the air section, cover the entire route and take advantage of the electrical wiring route, which uses trays. The type of fiber used can support 10Gb of bandwidth, which leads to improve communications equipment, swtiches. The latter is not part of this document On the other hand, the present design complies with the recommendations of the ANSI / TIA / EIA-568.A and EIA/TIA-568-B.3 standard, which is why it has a minimum life of 15 (fifteen) years
