According to the statistics of the Central Reserve Bank of Peru, the manufacture of wood and furniture contributed a scarce 1% to the national GDP on average in the period 2005-2016, this due to the high degree of informality at all levels of the industry . At present, there is still no good forest management, which has caused the wood furniture industry to be managed with unpredictable supplies and with short-term informal suppliers. However, this has not been reason for the deactivation of the industry; on the contrary, an intension of development is shown when the majority of factories are grouped together in an industrial park, where it is sought to improve with the support of local and national governments, basically by ministries such as PRODUCE and MINCETUR, and dependencies such as PROMPERÚ. Currently, the Lima region gathers the largest number of factories related to the industry; It has occurred in one of the largest districts of the country, Villa El Salvador. The purpose of this research work seeks to contribute to the development and progress of exports of companies producing wood furniture, generating recommendations that can take advantage of the entrepreneurs of the Industrial Park of Villa El Salvador, so they are aware of the barriers that most affect in the exports of this industry and can minimize them to have new opportunities and growth possibilities, allowing them to be more competitive in the international market, evaluating and mitigating each of the internal and external barriers that may affect existing commercial interests.
