In Peru, omnichannel strategy has taken on relevance in retail, specifically department stores. The omnichannel impact on the customer experience, so that today, stores seek to implement them and transmit a comprehensive experience (offline and online). The category of department stores is challenging, as they seek to carry out outstanding actions such as the implementation of the omnichannel strategy that has been applied for example in Saga Falabella Peru. Therefore, the objective of the research is to analyze the role that the omnichannel strategy of Saga Falabella plays in the management of the customer experience during the purchase process in this department store. For this study, the omnichannelity and customer experience management categories were investigated focused on the department store. It is a qualitative research. The method used was the case study. For data collection, a semi-structured interview was applied to 13 clients of Saga Falabella, selected according to the sampling technique and theoretical saturation. With the study carried out, the omnichannel strategy of Saga Falabella plays 3 roles in the management of the customer experience of this department store: it contributes to a positive shopping experience, it involves in both channels (online and offline) for a horizontal shopping experience and homogeneous; and it contributes to the customers experience, preventing interruptions in the purchase process, looking for solutions according to the needs of the customers in both channels.
