The radio has undergone changes since the advent of new technologies. Nowadays, different scenarios arise for the difussion of radial content. Convoca Radio, for example, has become one of the digital media that makes use of the podcasting platform to disseminate reports through radial language. From the other side, it is Radio Programas del Perú, an informative radio station with several years of validity. In this research, we analyze precisely the work of the two media mentioned above, each one corresponds to a different scenario: digital and traditional. The latter continues being considered the medium par excellence, because it uses sound as raw material; however, the digital platform generates a different treatment to the radial content. This can be accompanied by multimedia tools. Considering this, the present study develops the analysis of two important fields: the radial language and the radial mounting. Convoca Radio and RPP work and take advantage of radial tools in a particular way. The objective is to demonstrate the differences of each medium with respect to use and explotation that they apply with the tools of the radial language and the radial mounting. The radio reports of each medium are the object of study and through it, trends of use will be demonstrated regarding tools such as the word radiophonic, sound effects, music and silence.
