The following research has analyzed the way digital media newspapers Trome and Peru21 have adapted to the show business market through the unauthorized exposure of privacy. Based on digital tools and resources, such web platforms have managed to create news media content thanks to new sources of information. For the purposes of this paper, the famous lives of Yahaira Plasencia and Michelle Soifer have been analyzed. For this, 92 comparable news of both newspapers were selected between January 2016 and December 2017 to conduct an effective content analysis. In the case of Yahaira Plasencia, news came out regarding a real lost love story. After cheating one of the most famous footballers of our country, the public figures involved gained more popularity and the media used their digital resources to publish scandalous stories. On the other hand, Michelle Soifer’s case had a major impact due to the way she faced the media. The public figure took advantage of her personal problems to stay relevant in the industry. However, after the analysis, the veracity of the events involving Ms. Soifer at the time is still unknown. Journalism has adapted to a new way of creating media content which in time has become the preference of the main communication companies of the country.
