The present study seeks to verify if there is a significant difference between millennials and digital natives when they value the factors of the proposed rum brand value model, particularly the brand Ron Cartavio Selecto. It will be seen that despite being young consumer groups and living in the same context, both could present differences when evaluating a rum brand. The study will be developed in four chapters and will cover the following topics. Chapter 1 describes the rum market in Perú, the brands that make it up, emphasizing the Ron Cartavio Selecto brand and a series of factors that digital natives and millennials value in a brand of rum. In chapter 2 The hypothesis that seeks to determine if there is a significant difference between millennials and digital natives when evaluating the factors of the proposed brand value model for the rum sector. Chapter 3 presents the methodology used: exploratory qualitative - quantitative, in which primary and secondary sources are used; interviews with experts on rum market, digital marketing and brand value; focus groups - virtual surveys to the target audience. Chapter 4 details the possible application of the present investigation in the market and as a result of the analysis in Chapter 5, the relevant factors that a rum brand should have so the consumer can consider it to buy. Finally, the conclusions and recommendations are presented.
