Abstract: Desarrolla el balance hídrico de la cuenca del río Chicama para el año 2016. Los parámetros meteorológicos a lo largo de la cuenca, entre los meses de abril y diciembre, presentan un déficit hídrico donde la precipitación no llega a abastecer distintas zonas de la cuenca. Además, en los meses restantes del año (enero a marzo) existe un superávit hídrico desaprovechado donde el agua es derivada hacia el océano. Previamente al desarrollo del balance hídrico, se obtuvo los parámetros hidro-meteorológicos proporcionados por La Autoridad Nacional del Agua (ANA) y El Servicio Nacional de Meteorología e Hidrología (SENAMHI) donde se desarrolló un análisis de consistencia de los parámetros y la compleción de los datos faltantes mediante el programa HEC-4. El balance hídrico se ha desarrollado con el software especializado para la gestión hídrica WEAP (Sistema de evaluación y planificación hídrica) considerando las demandas hídricas calculadas (población, industrial, minero, agrícola) y la oferta hídrica. Es importante resaltar que la cuenca del río Chicama se realizó en un Sistema de Información Geográfica (SIG) para ser desarrollado en el programa WEAP.
In this thesis the water balance of the Chicama river basin is developed for the year 2016. The meteorological parameters along the basin, between the months of April and December, present a water deficit where the precipitation does not reach supply different areas of the basin. In addition, in the remaining months of the year (January to March) there is an unutilized water surplus where water is diverted to the ocean. Prior to the development of the water balance, the hydro-meteorological parameters provided by the National Water Authority (ANA) and the National Meteorology and Hydrology Service (SENAMHI) were obtained, where a consistency analysis of the parameters and the completion of the missing data through the HEC-4 program were made. The water balance has been developed with the specialized software for water management WEAP (System of evaluation and water planning) considering the calculated water demands (population, industrial, mining, agricultural) and the water supply. It is important to note that the Chicama river basin was made in a Geographic Information System (GIS) to be developed in the WEAP program.
