The present research work, entitled “PROPOSAL OF A HOUSING MODULE USING THE BIM METHODOLOGY FOR THE SOCIOECONOMIC LEVEL C, CASE STUDY DISTRICT OF SAN SEBASTIAN - CUSCO“, makes an analysis about the need for housing in the province of Cusco. Problems such as population growth, the behavior of the population with respect to their migration, the speculation of land acquisition costs, high construction costs and lack of technical support, demean the service and the quality of housing, affecting the local market It is there that it was determined that the research problem is the scarcity in the local market of a social housing module, and the general objective, to reduce the deficit of this market by implementing a module with new technologies (BIM), for a socio-economic level C. The conclusions that were reached are summarized (see conclusions p.87): 1. That the use of BIM technology or buildings with information allow stability, integral visualization of the project and require information. 2. That the use of BIM technology allows to increase and ensure quality, safety, during the different phases of design, and later construction and operation. 3. That the use of the BIM methodology, for the creation of a housing module for socioeconomic level C, is financially beneficial. 4. The speculation of the acquisition of land in the local market detracts from the project, which makes the investment cost higher.
