Describe the relationship between resilience and satisfaction with life in older adults who attend centers of the elderly people in Lima Metropolitan. The study was carried out in 151 older adults, men (N = 46) and women (N = 105), with ages ranging from 60 to 91 years old (M = 74.86) who attend 4 Centers for the elderly people. The instruments used to respond to the main objective were the scale of Resilience (CD-RISC) of Serrano, Garrido, Notary, Bartolomé, Solera and Martínez (2012); and the “Satisfaction with life“; scale of Martínez (2004). Among the results it was found a significant positive relationship between the factors of Resilience and the level of Satisfaction with life. This means that, the resilience promotes the perception of satisfaction with the life of the elderly people.
