The main objective of this research was to analyze the relationship between the perception of health, coping styles and emotions in a sample of 107 undergraduates in the career of psychology at a private university in Lima. The sample consisted of 81 women and 22 men, aged between 15 and 23 years. The instruments used were the General Subjective Health Questionnaire, the Multidimensional Coping Questionnaire (COPE-52) and the Positive and Negative Experience Scale (SPANE), as well as the Life Habits questionnaire and the Sociodemographic Record. In a correlational descriptive type design, data analysis were carried out on the mentioned variables. The results showed that the perception of health has a significant relationship with positive emotions and inversely with negative emotions, but has no significant relationship with any of the coping styles. In addition, coping focused on the problem has a significant relationship with coping centered on emotion, with other coping styles, with positive emotions and, inversely, with negative emotions. In turn, it has been observed that coping focused on emotion has a significant relationship with other coping styles, and positive emotions showed a significant relationship with negative emotions.
