Two of the present and future global environmental challenges of the 21st' century are those generated by the noise pollution and waste, which is why nowadays every entity that is involved with the problem, such as generators and/or affected, has a task of finding alternative solutions against these problems to reduce them. Under that context, this investigation aims to detennine the sound absorption capability of the acoustics barriers made with organic waste, which in one part, are an option for the classical ones (such as rocks and mines), and on the other hand, they offer a solution against waste, giving them outputs to the organic waste products through its reuse.
