The present investigation was carried out with the objective of evaluating the size of suckers and the use of mulch on the development of Aloe vera "aloe" seedlings grown under nursery conditions, in the Loreto region. The research was quantitative, prospective, cross-sectional, analytical and explanatory (cause - effect). To determine the effect of the size of suckers without and with mulch, four sizes of suckers were separated from the mother plant, uniformly selecting 60 units to be sown 30 in cones without mulch and 30 in cones with mulch. The sample consisted of 20 young Sabilas grown under the weather conditions of the city of Iquitos selected at random. The characteristics evaluated were plant height (cm), plant diameter (cm), basal leaf length (mm), basal leaf diameter (mm), basal leaf width (mm), total plant weight (g). The evaluation of the results shows us that the best conditions of vegetative propagation when reaching a state of maturity that, when separated from the mother plant, become independent to form their own root system and feed themselves would be between 15 and 20 cm; Likewise, the suckers of 15.0 to 20.0 cm show significant differences with mulch application, greater diameter, length and width with mulch versus without mulch, the mulch in the stored is very important as a regulator of the edaphoclimatic biophysical conditions of the substrate inside of rooting cones in growth with better performance.
