Objective: Determine the level of anxiety according to the BECK scale of doctors, Lic. in nursing and nursing technicians who work in the COVID hospitalization area of the Andahuaylas Subregional Hospital - 2020. Method: This study is qualitative, with a non-experimental cross-sectional, retrospective and descriptive design. My study population was made up of 160 health professionals to whom the Beck scale was applied, which consists of 21 items. Results: The results obtained indicate that the study population with the highest level of anxiety were women with 54% as opposed to men 46%. Of the doctors studied, 79% presented a mild level of anxiety and 21% did not present anxiety. Of the nursing graduates, 49% presented a mild level of anxiety, 27% a moderate level of anxiety, 15% a severe level of anxiety and 9% did not present anxiety. The technicians presented a mild level of anxiety in 41%, moderate anxiety in 28%, severe anxiety in 10% and 21% did not present anxiety. Conclusions: This study concludes that health professionals who were on the front line in the face of this pandemic were psychologically affected, with the majority presenting a mild level of anxiety.
