The increase in the use of information and communication technologies in the year 2020 as a result of the digitalization of academic activities, was the propitious moment to determine the association between the level of ICT use and the problematic behaviors suggested by previous research. The objective of the research was to determine the degree and type of relationship between the use of ICT and the intention of academic fraud in students of the Professional School of History of the National University of San Antonio Abad del Cusco. The methodology used in the research opted for the quantitative route or approach, a descriptive and correlational level, and a correlational cross-sectional design. For this purpose, 82 students distributed in four randomly selected subjects were surveyed. The research determined the existence of a direct association between the use of ICT and the intention of academic fraud, obtaining a Kendall's Tau-b correlation coefficient of 0.305 and its approximate significance of 0.000. The predominant level of ICT use among students was regular and high, while the level of academic fraud intention was very low at 67.1%. Regarding the 15 possible associations between variables and dimensions, the research determined a direct and significant relationship in nine of them.
