The present research was carried out in the experimental field Campos Libres 1, belonging to the Fundo of the La Molina National Agrarian University. The objectives were to characterize the promising F7 lines of pea crop (Pisum sativum L.) progeny from the Utrillo and Remate cross, for their morphoagronomic traits, to evaluate dry grain yield and to select the progenies with tal size vines growth, early blooming, good pod and grain quality. A Completely Randomized Block Design (CSBD) with nineteen treatments and three replications was used and the experimental plot was 4.8 m2. The parameters evaluated for morphoagronomic traits were: days to flowering, days to physiological maturation, plant height, number of locules per pod, length of pods, width of pods, hilum color, testa surface and grain color. Yield components were: number of pods per plant, number of grains per pod, 100-seed weight, yield per plant and dry grain yield as well as grain characteristics (hilum color, grain texture and grain color). According to Duncan, the promising lines that had the highest yields were L3 with 3566 kg/ha, L8 with 3295 kg/ha, L15 with 3241 kg/ha, L16 with 3188 kg/ha and L14 with 3146 kg/ha. They stood out for presenting grains with a rough texture, grains of green color and white hilum. Likewise, from the early lines L2, L3, L4, L7, L8, L9 and L10, were L3 and L8 the ones that stood out for their higher yield and earliness.
