This document describes the activities carried out in the urban tree-planting of the district of Carabayllo - Lima - Peru. To this end, the “Trees for Lima - SERPAR“ tree-planting programme was implemented, materialising the specific agreement between the two institutions and drawing up the District's Urban Tree-planting Plan for 2019. The tree planting plan includes a participatory methodology that was divided into four stages: (i) plan considerations, (ii) training, (iii) planting and (iv) supervision. In each stage, knowledge and technical criteria acquired in professional training and personal experience in issues related to the management of green areas are put into practice, identifying some limiting factors and district deficiencies; generating solutions to achieve the implementation of the programme. The implementation of the “Trees for Lima“ program, allowed to the tree planting in 9 sectors of the Carabayllo district, encompassing public spaces that include: 17 parks, 7 berms, 1 avenue and 10 belonging to green areas of properties, through the development of a participatory urban arborization plan. The trainings increased understanding of the importance of urban trees and environmental improvement, reflected in the proper development and maintenance of wooded areas through obtaining seizure rates greater than or equal to 80% in all wooded áreas
