This leveling and earthworks work was carried out in the district of Quilmaná, province of Cañete, Lima region. Thirty-five leveling plans of 0.5ha were made, divided into 18 greenhouse modules, in order to achieve surfaces with a uniform slope for the drainage of the fields. The project had a topographic survey using a total station, with an approximate density of 28 points per hectare. The procedure consisted first of a visual field inspection and verification of the survey with a level. Field topographic data was processed using AutoCAD CIVIL 3D software for the natural terrain surface. Then the leveling plans were designed with a transverse slope of 1% and the longitudinal slope as the average of the longitudinal slopes, and finally the project dimensions to be set out were obtained. The calculation of the cut and fill earthworks was carried out with an approximate ratio of 1.3, obtaining cuts and fills of between 30 and 60cm. From the topographical work carried out in the field, it was possible to level all the fields without exceeding the initially projected budget and within the requested period.
